Beyond The Gray
This animation project tells the story of a cat living in a gray, colorless world who builds a spaceship and ventures into space, only to discover a vibrant world of colors—only to wake up and realize it was all a dream. Created using After Effects, the project explores themes of imagination and hope through simple yet expressive animation. I worked closely with a teammate who contributed to the sound design, helping bring the story to life.

Concept
I opted for a minimalist style, focusing on simplicity while ensuring the characters' expressions were detailed enough to capture authenticity and emotion. The contrast between the gray world and the colorful space was key to conveying the story’s progression. The clean, straightforward design style allowed the story to shine through while maintaining a sense of depth and personality in the characters, especially in their movements and facial expressions.
